They see you as an extension of themselves instead of a separate person. You can think of it like the relationship you have with your feet. They're not separate beings. They're part of you. So when you want to walk somewhere, you don't need to explain where you want to go. They already know! And that's what many narcissists expect from you too. They don't think they should have to do things like: Explain exactly what they want. Give you clear instructions. Tell you what's on their mind. Because you're part of them, so you should already know. But of course, that's not true. You're not part of them. You're a separate person.
