Girl from a clinical nutritionist, check for H.pylori infection, SIBO (breath test checking hydrogen, hydrogen sulphide & methane need to be checked), endometriosis belly is also a thing (do you have family history?)

I was dealing with this last year. I gained 30 lbs. I did GI tests and they essentially said looks good and never got back to me on next steps. Still don’t know why, I lost the wait but I still have stomach issues

go to the ER and ask for an ecg and ecocardiogram in addition to lab assessment for kidney function, liver problems and endocrine problems. The last patient who came to me with a story like that had a new heart failure no one knew about.

Girl, I’m so sorry, but this is basically how my baby sister looked when she was in stage four kidney disease (end stage kidney disease) and it was because of water retention when the kidney was unable to filter out the urine and her body was retaining water. I really hope that’s not what it is but treat it as very urgent and go get your kidneys checked. best of luck to you.

If I were you, I wouldn’t try anything new (over-the-counter treatments, natural remedies) until the tests are done and the results are in. You risk “skewing” the upcoming tests’ results. Digestive issues (if that’s what you’re dealing with) are very hard to pinpoint accurately. And for women, there’s that standard "you’re probably just stressed" line that only makes things worse. Try—if it’s possible—to speed up the testing process. Hang in there 🌻🌻🌻🌻

What are your symptoms? I had similar and it turned out my stomach was partially paralysed (gastroparesis), but I was also throwing up daily, nauseous 24/7, struggling to eat more than a couple of bites, unable to drink more than a sip or two of water at once, etc

i have no clue if this will help but it can’t hurt: try upping your collagen (there’s powders you can put in drinks). i have hEDS which causes a lottttt of gastrointestinal issues, and in many, gastroparesis. but we have collagen that isn’t very strong and is disorganized and stuff, so taking additional collagen can help our bodies. maybe it could help yours? :(

Ive had this for a long time when i was a borderline alcoholic ive been a year sober now and it has gone down. I thought it was an ovarian cyst at first. Im also gluten intolerant so that could be why cutting alcohol helped too
