@saysdotcom: Air quality across Sarawak deteriorated significantly on Wednesday morning, 2 September, with three areas recording hazardous Air Pollutant Index (API) readings. According to the Malaysian Air Pollutant Index Management System (APIMS), Serian recorded the country’s highest API reading at 320, followed by Kuching at 318 and Samarahan at 302. Five other areas in Sarawak, including Sibu and Sarikei, recorded very unhealthy levels, while 16 monitoring stations nationwide reported unhealthy readings.
