Imagine squidward is working his normal day, SpongeBob is hyper and is laughing allot. squidward gets annoyed and yells at SpongeBob and tells him how annoying he is and wishes that he would leave him alone forever. SpongeBob gets sad and is like, oh, ok I am sorry squidward and is quiet and pouty all day. squidward is happy with himself and even enjoys it. he goes home after his shift. weird SpongeBobs house is dark and he is quiet. but then squidwards like, finally maybe i can get some rest without his insistint laughing. I better enjoy it while it lasts. next morning squidward wakes up well rested and is jolly. he heads to work and looks forward to a quiet day. but something is wrong as he is on his way to work. there is a darkness around everyone. at first squidward is jolly, but slowly sees something is wrong. he then starts to panic thinking about how SpongeBob has been quiet, he then runs to the krusty krab. mr krabs has a closed sign on the building and is crying. squidward asks what's going on. mr krabs tells him that when SpongeBob was walking home last night, he was mugged. they stabbed him and he didn’t survive. mr krabs is closing the restaurant until after SpongeBobs funeral. "enjoy your time off Mr. squidward" squidward is in denial at first. no, this cant be, I just seen him yesterday, this cant be, the last thing I said to him......squidward is now in a daze, he is in this daze up until the funeral. this song plays to showcase squidwards daze. it plays all the way until the funeral is done. right at the end, after SpongeBob is buried. squidward stands alone at SpongeBobs tombstone. squidward with tears, lays flowers on the grave, says, i am sorry SpongeBob. then the SpongeBob whistle at the end plays and the episode ends.
