My problem with snape being black is now James and Sirius have racist overtones to their bullying him, literally stated “because he exists”. Immediate beef with him the second they meet for no reason. Could’ve changed the race of literally any other character without dealing with this issue

I don’t understand why everyone is saying that this is gonna make Harry seem racist.. literally anybody that has read the books is gonna know why Harry is suspicious of snape people who have never read the books or even watched the movies know that Snape is a villain.. the show is for fans of the Harry Potter books who want it to be more accurate why would they automatically assume that Harry is racist if they’ve read the books and they know why they’re suspicious of Snape
