Ngl oral temps piss me off the most. Especially in triage... Taking like 200 temps in a shift, on grown adults who act like they've never had their temperature taken before in their lives 🥲 "UNDER your tongue please" "close your mouth" "stop chewing on the probe" "don't talk please" "stop moving around"... Then the snail pops up 😭

The endless spin is cheap batteries not discharging enough amperage, even if the battery icon says they're fine. I brought some Energizer Lithiums from home just to test, and the thermometer in triage didn't have an error all week.
