Pirates 2–0 Milford - Oswin Appollis 24’, Tshepang Moremi 85’. 🤣🤣🤣 Appollis opened the account with a free-kick that took a deflection, and Moremi finished the job in the 85th minute. So yes, Milford are clearly capable of competing - but that particular day, Pirates were the ones doing the celebrating! 😂 And this is where football gets interesting. You keep reminding everyone that Milford are no pushovers, which is fair. But every time Orlando Pirates gets mentioned, some of us start checking the football history books. 👀🤣 Because we remember what happened to one of your predecessors. First came the 2023 MTN8 final defeat to Pirates, then the 2024 Nedbank Cup final defeat to Pirates at Mbombela. Not too long afterwards, that Sundowns chapter came to an end. 😬 Now look at us again - Sundowns vs Pirates in another MTN8 final. 😂😂😂 Coach, football has a very long memory.
