Almost an inch on my calves in the last six weeks 1. Ok so they have been THIS SIZE before when I trained them consistently 2. Which is the point isn’t it? 3. No muscle you have will grow if you never trained it 4. But it has been work 5. I’ve gone from using about half the stack on this machine in the video to using almost the full stack now for reps 6. I hold the stretch 3-5 seconds and honestly just focus on that for the most part 7. I don’t come all the way back up because the calves don’t experience mechanical tension at very short lengths 8. This means this is truly a muscle that does like lengthened partials (see you guys...I’m about the science...and if a lengthened partial will grow a muscle more, which it does here, I’ll support that) 9. You don’t need a seated calf for the “soleus” it does work here too, and I know one of you is going to ask that. 10. I use a mostly straight leg but if you have SOME knee bend it’s ok 11. I’m sure there will be some weird questions I can’t think of because you guys over think almost everything but basically 12. It’s two sets of these on lower body days 13. 4-6 reps, increase load when I can do 8 14. That’s it.
