I've never heard anyone talk about the burn it leaves behind for about a week. I has to be shocked multiple times, maybe that's why I had the burn 🤷, and for a week after that I had a gnarly huge burn in the exact shape of the pad.

yes it does hurt but you are put to sleep first. the last time I had it done it took two shocks to get me started again. it felt like I had broken ribs.

Almost had this done twice. Was in Afib and they were going to do that to get me back to normal rhythm. They were going to sedate me before doing it. Luckily my heart converted on its own right before starting the procedure, both times!

No, I was not under sedation. They didn’t have time they had to get my heart under control fast so they don’t always put you under.
