Great tips and talk. I worked in marketing, mainly branding strategy and products campaigns, my clients were in gaming and technology, but certain campaigns we used influencer programs. Every client had different requests, sometimes we wanted high quality UGC for reposting but mainly ( back in 2022) we were always looking at the active community and i believe the market is still the same . Each company during different campaigns looks for people that for those things they are nitpicking. BUT being a content creator is harder than building a brand around a product because it's a one person team. It was way easier to build a community in 2018 when i started on Twitch, you could maybe not see big numbers but there was a lot of support. After coming back from a big break, 2026 looks very different, and it requires a grind that will burn one out if it's not something one is passionate about. Most of the creators i meet that their only passion was numbers, would drop out as soon as the numbers would be flat. 2026 Streaming is very difficult in terms of discovery but one can use it for concern creations to share clips on different platforms. I was making a good side income in between 2018-2022 before my job drained all my life force. To stream Infinity Nikki one really a good pc 🥲. Cameras and mic don't need to be expensive, the Logitech c920 been standing strong for like 15 years, please don't buy a razer mic, everrrrr ( hate mine , went back to a samson mic. they are professional but quite budget friendly. I mainly stream art and my community is adjusted to that, and Nikki sometimes from ps5, in EU times ones nikki doesn't really have an active viewership, so streaming hours are like very important too 🥲 .... I been typing as listening, so maybe my notes are all over the floor. In the end my 2 cent would to anyone planing to grind content creation is , to have fun... use it as a hobby that teaches you other hobbies too, share create and have fun, do not burn your mental health down.... be ready for numbers flopping and algoritm changes, untill you find your place. On corporate note... community and quality are the general rule...
