As a ginger I can confirm that colour will not come out after a few washes! Ginger hair is very hard to get any type of dye out of even food colouring doesn’t come out of my hair .

I am a mother who has sole custody of my son, and I still stand with the father. Both parents can make the decision. The girlfriend was just over controlling not letting their child live a little bit and the tattoo that’s honestly none of the mother‘s business anyways I have my godson‘s name tattooed on my body, and I didn’t give a shit what his mother thought of it. It was my love my bond between me and that Child.

Her having a tattoo of that child is uncomfortable to say the least thats a bigger flag than the hair, but hypothetically he likes that his daughter has long hair no hair cuts the mom gets a bf who lets her get a bob cut i can then imagine what the dad would say... Shes only 4 shes not a teen whos being told no and runs to the other parent, the gf shouldn't of had part in this full stop and the father should of known better than to put that crap in the childs healthy hair so young, it's not even about sides but saying mom is micromanaging... She carried and birthed that baby who by the way isnt even 5 years old... This is a bloody stupid story

Without knowing full story, I believe its something that needs to be discussed between both biological parents first. Pros Cons and possible side effects. What would have happened if the kid had an allergic reaction to the colour. I have seen a kid with massive infections on their scalp after reacting to the colour as their skin was super sensitive to chemicals and the dad didn't know because he didn't check with the mum, who had to use specialised products on the kid because of issues with over the counter products. Hence why its always good to talk first so issues can be avoided.

Or what's best for the child? She wanted purple hair, give her purple hair. It washes out, and gives her some control over her own anatomy and choices. Just cause she's four, I don't think this is a unreasonable thing for her to request?

I’d be a little upset because as someone who dyes my hair, I know that’s not gonna go back to the exact same colour it was without some work, but I also suspect this mother was mad about them doing it without asking. My son’s hair is really light coloured too and if I’d been asked, I’d probably say yes, but if he just came back with colour in his hair I’d be a lil like ??
