Heck in 2002 this could've happened to anyone this age. A lot of us were online in the chat rooms having some really adult conversations (I was 13-14 in 2002).

I talked to someone online when I was this age and then when they stopped replying abruptly, I was sad but now that I’m 30 it was definitely a blessing😂😂

Also, if you find out your kid is talking to someone online, dont shame them. Have a conversation and find out more, but be empathetic, teenagers are stupid. There's no need to be shaming them when they were preyed upon

I met an online friend at 13 but it was in a SAFE way, she was 15 and my mom and her mom texted eachother planning things and we met up in a PUBLIC space WHYYYY do people risk their safety like this 😢😢😢
