Having your boyfriend’s daughter’s name tattooed on your body is kinda weird. Especially if you didn’t adopt her. She’s technically not even a stepmother. Anyway, I think if it’s something as harmless as hair dye, the child should have the final say in what happens to her appearance.

They should have discussed it with her mom. only because she may have an event to go to and want her daughter to have natural color for that. also it's temporary. it's not to big of a deal. once the girlfriend and dad is married they need to sit down and discuss what is appropriate for the girl that they all agree on. and absolutely nothing permanent changes unless all three agree or just the biological parents do. keeping in consideration that the girl would in fact have three parent not just two. That the step mothers opinions need consideration so that the child and stepmother can bond. the stepmother will be there for a long time and for her entire life. It's better to strive to get along and create peace for the girl.
