@foodrevealapp: Your Coke says "Acid (E338)". America's says…? EU label: "Acid (Phosphoric Acid)" — with the functional class FIRST, then the substance. US label: "Phosphoric Acid" — substance only, no class, no E-number. Same molecule (H₃PO₄). Same function. Same sharp bite. Just two regulatory dialects. Why? EU Reg. 1169/2011 (FIC, Annex VII) requires the functional class BEFORE the substance. US 21 CFR 101.4 just requires the common name — no class prefix. Phosphoric acid is GRAS in the US (21 CFR 184.1061) and E338 in the EU. EFSA sets a group ADI for phosphates at 40 mg/kg bw/day as P. Which label do you trust? Comment EU or US 🇪🇺🇺🇸 SAVE THIS before your next grocery run. Not a health verdict. Not affiliated with or endorsed by The Coca-Cola Co. #cocacola #foodlabels #FoodTok #sodas #LearnOnTikTok
