For anyone who doesn't understand, using opposite or complementary colors would help. Cooler colors would be the shadows and the more warm tones would be better for light. Its all just color theory

to ppl who dont understand it, color theory is basically just adding more depth to make the drawing more realistic. its very commonly used in contests and is actually very useful.
