my content usually isnt like this but it feels ignorant to not post about it, i dont believe that the asian community should be offended that the black community is wanting to boycott anti-black businesses. boycotting is a way of protesting and cyrus carmack-belton did not get justice. edit: unfortunately my post came of as vague (not my intent) so im adding more to the caption — anti-black statements have been integrated in asian culture for a long time now and also needs to be addressed since its also a reason for the boycott. we should seperate peaceful boycotting from people who are doing it out of ill intent because at the end of the day there will always be outliers like that. its just disappointing to hear people saying that both communities wont ever or have never been allies when historically asian businesses have been put in black communities because of racism and theres been points of solidarity. elites are probably laughing in all of our faces because they dont want us to be allies. i believe that the asian community did not respond to the boycotting appropriately. the dollar is not more important than a life. || #justiceforcyrus #justiceforcyruscarmackbelton #asiancommunity #blackcommunity #boycott
