with my uni the time slot i got allocated was the amount of time my parents car could be parked right outside of my accommodation, they are very lenient on the day because there is a lot of emotions going on yk. it might just mean that after the time slot is done that your parents will just have to move their car else where, maybe a supermarket car park if the uni has limited parking etc

Tbh the time slot I think just means that’s the time you have to get your keys and unload from your car. For me personally I had trolleys and they used the time slots to ensure not everyone turns up at the same time and trolleys are all used. After that time slot your parents can just stay and you can run errands etc. That was just my experience though! Have the best time in uni girlie 🫶
