I’ll admit that making a video regarding this and calling out Froggydude without proper confirmation was wrong of me, and I acknowledge that some of my wording may have come across differently to the fanbase than I intended. However, I don’t think that completely changes the fact that I found their interactions with each other odd. I’ve already taken down the videos to avoid further harassment, and I apologize to anyone who felt offended by me bringing Froggydude into the situation. However, I don’t think that completely invalidates how I felt at the time. I felt extremely uncomfortable with what I perceived as a reference to ableism, especially because I have speech impairments, and it made me question whether the content could have been targeted toward me. I also think it’s important to distinguish that I’m not the primary source responsible for this whole situation, as these discussions had already been circulating since the original video was posted. I’m only serving as a messenger of what’s going on. Regarding my video from a week ago, I explicitly stated that I wasn’t able to fully research the YouTubers because I had school. And regarding the people saying that the villager isn’t actually disabled and that it was simply a reference to a plane crash, I understand that interpretation. However, the face of the villager also appears to reference a meme that has been used against disabled and neurodivergent people. Because of that, it’s hard to overlook the possibility that the imagery could be offensive to people who recognize the reference, especially given the history of neurodivergent people being treated as less valuable because of their abilities. Saying that I spread misinformation simply because I interpreted the video differently doesn’t necessarily mean that my concerns were invalid. I’m open to being corrected if there is information I was unaware of. Regarding the document about Lookout, we still cannot fully confirm everything in it. I think we should continue monitoring Lookout’s behavior and see whether there are any signs of change. The fact that the document was announced by Khronodeus instead of Lookout is also something I find questionable, and I believe people have the right to question that.
