In 2004 my mom was in the hospital and on the second day of recovery she had a pulmonary embolism. Her room was close to the nurse’s station and when it started to happen I heard her nurse talking to another nurse about the sudden changes he was seeing on her monitor. I don’t know who he initially called, or how, but suddenly it was like nurses and doctors came from EVERY direction. After it was over and she was stable, i realized how impressive it was that they all converged on her so fast. They are angels on earth.
