@tajforlozells: 🌿 Keeping Lozells Clean & Green – Working Together! 🧹♻️ Today I had a walkabout in Lozells Ward with Chris Smiles, Head of Waste Management, and Dave, listening directly to residents about the new bin collection pilot scheme. Residents raised concerns about: 🔹 Households that have not yet received their new pilot scheme bins 🔹 Rubbish building up on our streets 🔹 The need for more regular street cleaning around Lozells Road, Leonard Road, Finch Road and surrounding streets 🔹 Fly-tipping and the impact it has on our neighbourhood I showed the Waste Management team some of the areas affected, and I’m pleased that Chris has committed to arranging additional cleansing crews and a sweeping machine to help clean these areas. I will continue to push for a cleaner, greener and safer Lozells. 🌳💚 But I need everyone’s help. 🚯 Please do not fly-tip. 📱 If you see someone dumping rubbish, report it to Birmingham City Council and, where possible, provide details or evidence. Together, we can take pride in our streets and make Lozells cleaner and greener.
