The killers name is Luke Resecker. This happened in 2023 in exerbs outside of Dallas/FW. A Johnson county jurry found him guilty and gave him 65 years: He killed an entire family, only the dad survived but paralyzed. Luke’s family though has asked Donald Trump to pardon him. Apparently the family he killed were immigrants and not white, so they are trying to get them to pardon him. Apparently if you’re an immigrant, these right wing maga think your life isn’t as valuable as a white Texan. Really freaking sad!

Years ago on I-77, in West Virginia, there was a mangled car in the grass median, placed there by the state. A large sign said “Sometimes it takes a family of four to stop a drunk driver.” The implication was clear. When my now adult children and recently my teen grandchildren were learning to drive I said these words to them “For the first time in your life you will have the ability to kill a father, a mother, a child, a family. Just like the nurses in a hospital cannot drop any babies, you cannot make any mistakes when driving. None.”

Teen or not, I hope he was severely punished. Not only jail but once he gets out he should never be able drive again! We need harsher punishments for drinking and driving, should be an automatic attempted murder, even if you don’t hurt anyone.

It's always the drunk that survives. I've had 3 friends get killed by drunk drivers.. So sad that people drive drunk and can do devastating things to the innocent...

Why don’t the democrats ever screech about alcohol/drug control or abolishing drugs and alcohol when someone kills an entire family while driving under the influence? In fact, more people die in car accidents every year than they do from g*n deaths.
