@mom4lifeamanda: Charity has some medical issues caused by life in that horrible orphanage. Despite our best efforts to keep from having to come in to the hospital….it became necessary tonight. I knew the institutional look would come back into her eyes…and it did. She’s so hyper vigilant that she can’t rest, even with medicine that should have made her fall asleep. I layed down with her for awhile, I’ve tickled her face, and I’ve rubbed her back. Thankfully they just came in and said it’s just a bit of Collitis. Antibiotics, Zofran, and home to watch her close bc they said keeping her would actually make her worse…..but I knew that. #orphanage #specialneeds #ER #ptsd #medicalmama
