@mamachefsky: Your camper is sitting in the driveway costing you money. Here’s what mine cost me while making me money this Labor Day weekend. Revenue isn’t profit, so let’s look at my numbers. I know someone’s about to tell me what I forgot to include 😂 Let’s hear it. #sidehustles #sidehustlesecrets #easysidehustle #camper #campinghacks
How does your insurance handle that ? How are you making sure that the person renting it knows how to pull it ?

What area do you live in? I live in San Antonio Texas and I feel like there’s not many close areas to set up a camper other than the coast about 2.5 hours away. How far do you deliver and set up a camper?

what insurance company are you using? Ours doesn't seem to be too keen on insuring it when it's not me pulling it.

I see you’re in central MI. How is the off season for you! Is this primarily a summer side hustle?

I have 2018 33ft pioneer toy hauler i feel like it's not nice enough to do this with. I've had to do some work on it and it's not exactly perfect. plus I've taken some features out from its original floor plan to fit me more personally

Do you think it's worth it to buy a new one for the purpose of renting it? I'd be financing.

Who pays for the camping spot? Do you and that is in your charge, or do the renters and that is above your rental charge.

when you rent them out is your RV insurance under the business? Is there a website you list them on?

I mean that’s your “profit” for the weekend but you are not including general wear and tear/cost of tires/repacking wheel bearings and various other things that are not a cost captured per rental. So yes, you made that profit this weekend. You’re gonna have a huge loss when standard repairs are needed.

have you ever broken down costs for a whole year? obviously there are many months where camping does not happen. I'm interested in doing this, but would love to see some more numbers.

We have a 2017 39’ Montana High Country 5th wheel. We live in central Alabama and are looking at finding a campground on the gulf coast to leave it and rent it out. We’ve found 1 campground so far that will let us pay for the spot and rent it out. Still have quite a few to call
