@steven: Could bright nights be shortening your life? Andrew Huberman explains why light timing matters more than most people realise. Morning sunlight helps spike cortisol at the right time, waking you up and kickstarting systems like immunity. But at night, bright phone light can trigger that same cortisol response when your body should be winding down. Do you use your phone before bed? 📲 #phone #bedtime #doac #huberman
Your evening habits shape tomorrow’s decisions more than your morning motivation.

OK he spoke way too fast but I’m here to say I’m a night owl through and through. I see the morning rise (wayyyy too many times to be healthy) but that triggers me to go to sleep. It’s a fight for me everyday! I know my body wants to be up at night (overnight) but this job…… 🙄🙄🙄🙄 insert big pharma here 😑👊

this advice is mainly for people who can afford to live that way. I have to wake up before the sun ever comes up.

Well, I have sunrise syndrome so I DEFINITELY know and FEEL the difference between my daytime and nighttime moods. The minute the sun starts going down, I start to feel “ok”. That’s also why I’m a night owl.

Morning light is one of those rare health habits that is simple, free, and actually grounded in circadian biology. Get outside after waking, move during the day, and give your brain a clear contrast between daytime and nighttime.
