Our hearts shattered at his diagnosis — two ear infections, inflamed and swollen paws, and a body condition score of 1/9 on the BCS 9-Point Scale...the worst starvation level before death. Our veterinary team washed Gator, wrapping him in a cocoon of love and healing touch, quite possibly the first time he experienced such warmth and care. And yes, you guessed it. Gator is not aggressive in the SLIGHTEST. Gator will remain hospitalized for the unforeseen future as he is in no condition to leave any time soon. Tests are underway to determine his exact needs, and a comprehensive treatment plan is being devised to address his medical conditions. As we take these vital steps towards Gator’s recovery, we are collaborating with the authorities to ensure justice is served for the cruelty he endured.
