My gypsy accent comes out when I chat with my family but I was bullied at school and taught myself out of the accent growing up. Makes me no less Romani. It's in our blood ❤️

My friend got told he's not a gypsy beause he was born and bred in a house🤣 he's what you call full bloodline both mother and father. Baffles me some people do

my greatnanny was Roman gypsy she married a Scottish man....her daughter married a Irish traveler...had my mum.. alot story's and other things was told to me when younger... i would say Roman/Travers have more moral and respect for each other than most... i wasn't brought up different to anyone I know... at a young age I was shown how to do cards etc... i also look like my greatnannys family as im dark skinned( I look Indian / Cherokee Indian...the cherokee Indian bit I'm still trying to understand

My family on my dad's side are Irish travellers and romani (Irish traveller grandad married a romani girl in Cornwall), my mum's side are all romani and German. People never believe me when I say I'm a gypsy by DNA because I have a "posh farmer accent" and don't live in a caravan. my grandad was a Scarrott and grew up on the fair. They had their own galloping horses etc. The stories he told me from when he was a boy were amazing 🩷. People are far too bothered about who someone else is and what they do with their lives when they should be focusing on their own.

next question nooo there is no gypsy guide book i must follow to stop me losing my licence to be a gypsy i can follow any spiritual path or path in life i choose !! im still romani
