If it is a navigable water connected at both ends to public waterways it is not able to be privately owned.

The only thing close to "owning" part of a water way is in some states you can own the ground UNDER THE WATER so as long as you are floating above the bottom you are good. The government says thay are the only owners of water.

again, this is where you’re wrong though you should actually be fighting that and it shouldn’t go to the court systems if there’s laws already in place that you can’t own water rights it’s flat out plain and simple. It doesn’t get any more complicated than that. It’s either own water rights or you don’t own mineral rightsand I would include the water when I mean mineral rights.
