Just because of a speech delivered by the Moroccan Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs before His Majesty the King—may God grant him victory and support him—in which he mentioned the names of some Moroccan scholars, such as Al-Qadi Ayyad who was born in the Moroccan city of Ceuta in 476 AH, the Spaniards erupted in anger. This clearly confirms the state of tension being experienced by the Spanish government and the Spanish public as a whole.
