@usavoicenow: geopulseee A lighthearted moment between Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took place at the MAKS-2019 International Aviation and Space Show near Moscow on August 27, 2019. During their visit to the air show, Putin and Erdoğan stopped at an ice cream stand for a quick refreshment. As they were ordering, Erdoğan jokingly asked Putin, “Will you pay for me?” Putin replied, “Of course, you’re my guest.” The ice cream cost around 210 Russian rubles, and Putin paid for both of them. Putin reportedly used a 5,000-ruble note and later suggested that the change be directed toward aviation-related development. The amusing exchange showed a rare, informal side of the two leaders during what was otherwise a major diplomatic and military-aviation event. A simple ice cream stop — but one that quickly became one of the memorable moments from their appearance together. 🇷🇺🇹🇷 #russia #putin #geopolitics
