If you're visiting Kyoto, you need to add this day trip to your Japan itinerary. 🇯🇵 - If you're looking to escape the city for a coastal adventure, I highly recommend visiting Amanohashidate —one of Japan's top 3 scenic views! We took the single-seat cable car up for the iconic viewpoint (yes, you're meant to look at it upside down), I walked across the skywalk and went on the bicycle attraction. You can also do things like pottery throwing, archery and go karting. I got the cable car down and explored the peaceful town walked over the bridge and onto the sandbar it was beautiful. You can even rent bikes to cycle across and around too. We then got back on the coach heading to Ine, a stunning fishing village with traditional funaya (boat houses) lining the water-it's like stepping into a postcard -it's like a real-life Ghibli setting. It’s also known as the ‘Venice of Japan’. We then started our journey back to Kyoto city where I also saw some wild monkeys on the road. It was a great day away from the busy city exploring the coast and would highly recommend adding this to your Japan Itinerary🇯🇵 it is also a great day trip to do if you have children, there are many fun activities also for children and if you can’t use the single chair-lift they do have a cable car should you want to use it.
