forgot to say this, but I would definitely recommend leaving some sort of offering if it’s a graveyard specifically. Places like banks, or even like apartment buildings that you might want to move into Dont really require much of an offering, but I would always recommend giving things to the land.

I carry little jars in case I find an interesting bug. Or leaf. Or rock. And if I happen to scoop up the dirt surrounding it...not much I can do about that. Also, for those asking about offerings...you can give back to the earth literally anywhere. So you can pour some water under the flowers in your yard while thanking the earth for the dirt from the bank.
