@_lifewnash: if I’m being honest, these are all things I’ve had to check myself on lately when it comes to my UGC journey and keeping my faith at the center of it all… It’s easier said than done but it’s important that we don’t get so caught up in pursuing our calling that we forget to stop and listen to the One who called us. Confession: my UGC journey hasn’t played out exactly how I thought it would. I’ve let myself get distracted with comparison of how fast success is happening for others instead of trusting in Gods timing, instead of remembering He has a plan & a purpose, instead of remembering it’s not a race or a competition, instead of keeping my eyes fixed on Jesus. From this point on I’m making it a priority to not let anything, even what God has called me to, distract me from pursuing Him and surrendering the rest. Let’s not forget to partner with God in what He’s doing! Praying over every opportunity, project, pitch, post, etc. Give glory where it’s due. Isaiah 55:8–9 (NLT): “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” #ugccreator #christiancontentcreator #justchecking #ugccommunity #jesus
