I’m a nicu nurse and a family member recently brought in a box of kolaches for staff. While we never expect it, receiving snacks/small gifts like that is SO truly wonderful and appreciated. The fact that you guys took time out of your busy and hectic day to grab food for the staff is so kind and generous. I’m sure they really appreciated that!

Wish I had thought of this! I made baskets with the usual stuff and then I noticed every nurse was wearing the same blue and pink claw clips 😂 I feel like everyone who makes a basket puts pretty much the same stuff in it.

As a labor nurse I promise we appreciate donuts or pizza just as much if not more. A lot of the time we’re too busy for actual meal breaks so it helps a ton

We didn’t get food for the whole floor. But I was in labor almost my nurse’s entire shift so I made my husband drive, to cookout and get her a cookout tray and milkshake in the middle of the night 🫶

Love this. But as a hospital employee…administration buys pizza constantly for the floors. Anyone reading maybe swap for a different option if you wish to do something like this. 🤍

I felt horrible I was still gathering things for the baskets I wanted to make the staff and my water broke a week before baby’s due date, so I showed up with nothing 😭 I loved them so much, I see the other comments “they’re just making their jobs” listen - I don’t work in healthcare so what do I know, but in my eyes those ladies weren’t just working a job..

I made baskets and then my day nurse told me “probably not” when I asked her if I could have more of the larger pads because I had 3 in the room and was wearing the last… 12 hr PP. wanted to snatch those goodies right back
