You’re not entirely wrong, but the only thing I disagree with is generalizing the whole belief. I think it would be more accurate to say “some people within that belief” rather than making it sound like everyone who follows that belief is the same. I respect your opinion, though. People need to understand that they should have a personal relationship with God. Your faith shouldn’t depend on blindly following a priest, pastor, or anyone else. Listen, learn, and seek guidance, but most importantly, build your own relationship with God and get to know Him for yourself.
