Cant help but to think of the intense racism that was going on in Humble and the rest of Texas in these times

I wonder how they wear all these long sleeve clothes in this Texas heat. Was it as hot back then? Or were their clothes more breathable? I do wish we could bring back the style. It’s much more elegant than now

Before they invested all their money into law enforcement to fund the judges/police force’s pockets. Keep in mind the crime rate is still high!! 🥰🥰🥰

humble city cafe has been around over 100 years now, and still running by Ms.Ott; I was raised in the restaurant since she is my great grandmother and my father was the head chef there 🤍 Love to see this

if someone didn’t decide to record random moments like this we would get a chance to look back at them. So why do people get so butt hurt when people record buildings and areas to keep record of our timeline as well.

It also says Jan 28 on a window so I’m figuring it was sometime in January or February, which is when the temp drops in Texas, long sleeve is appropriate

My great grandpa Leland Chatham, owned one of the gas stations in town. My grandma & my mom’s names are both in the Humble Museum. That’s where they all grew up.

My siblings and I used to ride our bikes to downtown humble and go to the museum! Then the dental museum where they said the ghost of a man would sometimes shake the chair! 😂

Two things - one? Take me back to this time. I was born in the wrong era. And 2 - does anyone know if this street still has shops? Haven’t been to humble in 20 years

My great grandmother washed clothes for the oil field workers off of willow st and my papaw lived with our entire family on willow st until 2007. My papaw was born in ‘33
