Bro the money from a settlement or wining a civil case against them would out weigh the workers comp you’ve been paid over the last year by at least 10x… who cares if you gotta be pay a hundred or 2 hundred thousand. Your math seems wrong bro. Please consult with a few different lawyers and get a few different opinions. I beg of you. I saw you’re comment where you said you didn’t want to do a GoFundMe because you’re comfortable and you have enough money however if employers keep getting away with this stuff, good safety measures won’t ever actually get put in place and the bad guys get to keep more money you should definitely be entitled to. Okay you don’t want the money for yourself because you’re comfortable? Then win the money and do something good with it. Give back to other burn victims.
