@jmilesdesign: I'm going to say something that might be controversial coming from a designer. Stop trying to recreate your Pinterest board. Here's why: every image you saved was designed for someone else's life, someone else's light, someone else's family. When you try to copy it exactly, you end up with a space that looks right but feels wrong. The homes that actually feel amazing to live in? They're the ones that reflect the people inside them. The weird art you inherited. The color that makes you happy for no logical reason. The furniture that's a little quirky but you love it. Design is most powerful when it's personal. That's the whole reason I do what I do. 🤍
