Schools also protect the rapists especially if they’re on the football team! A school a transferred out of had a huge scandal as the school converted up multiple rape reports and the students led a protest demanding that the rapists be held accountable

If you or anyone you know is ever a victim, you do not need to the police first, you can go straight to the emergency room and ask for a SANE. (SA Nurse Examination) Your first instinct is gonna be to take a shower, unfortunately, there's evidence on your body. You can go to the emergency room and allow them to collect this evidence without deciding if you want to press charges or not. And the thing is, you can collect the evidence without deciding if you want to press charges or not. And then later on decide if you want that information to be handed over to the police. And the SANE department can hand it over to the police for you if that's what you decide to do which is a more effective way to open a case to begin with. I personally would not recommend calling the police, unless you are still with the perpetrator and need to get away from him. But if it's possible to get away and go directly to the emergency room, that's what I would do first. A lot of people in those departments say that the police take it more seriously when they're the ones turning in the report. They're also the like gonna be a lot more compassionate to you than the average police officer and have more informed like communication than the average police department. What I would like to see in the next several generations is there to be a completely separate department equal to the police that operates just for this type of things there should be something that that's a completely separate entity between the police and the hospital that just deals with this sort of issue. And I really hope someday we will see that. If you don't think that's necessary, then ask a SANE worker, how often they see children if you don't think this is a necessary conversation for society. On top of adults also do not deserve this. And be compassionate with yourself, do not listen to any victim blaming, and I know as stupid as this sounds, but try to play a stupid little puzzle game on your phone because it really does help deal with the trauma and like compartmentalize it to be able to work through it. 💐💖🧸
