im prescribed 2×10mg esci per day for half a year but have been forgetting to take a dose every other day the past 2 weeks too busy with work and somehow i feel that muted feeling got reduced. but yea ssri is meant to keep you leveled, which means tempering not just the lows but also the highs. thats why my libido is almost nonexistent especially on full dose

As someone who has been medicated for Bipolar Disorder II on and off for the last 9-ish years, it’s unfortunately a side effect of certain medications. 🥹 Hopefully your body adapts and acclimates to your antidepressants and the emotional blunting resolves itself. Hang in there. 🤗

escitalopram was my first and i didnt feel like talking and even typing ??? there was such a disconnect with my mind and feelings. had to change meds 😭😭

I experienced the same effects. Altho di naman talaga ako ganon ka expressive even before I took antidepressant, pero parang naging bato ako after 😂😅

Same. First few months I was just floating. Lol After dosage increase, something clicked and WOW ~life is worth living~. If it still bothers you, best to bring it up with tour doctor. :)

Hahaha gets. Nag anti depressant and anti psychotic din ako dati. Tumahimik sobra ung brain ko ganon pala ang buhay ng normal n tao haha walang mga random thoughts or voices tapos prang robot nalang ako hindi nako nakaka feel ng sad or happy or galit. Naging prng task and logic nalang brain ko. Prng nawalan tuloy ako lalo ng reason sa buhay hahaha naging tahimik nalang gagawa ng mga dapat gawin hindi na maingay makulit
