I live in Mexico and sometimes I see an orthopedic surgeon for cortisone injections. His wife is radiologist, they do it at her clinic, I have two physicians working on me for an hour all together including x-rays ultrasound and technicians, total cost a little over 100 bucks.

I had to go to the ER in Italy after I fell and needed stitches. Cost? Zero. I did have to follow up with a doctor on my trip to get the stitches out. Cost? $50. And, he walked next door to the pharmacy, got two boxes of bandaids and gave them to me. In the US, a trip to the ER would be thousands. The US is falling behind in healthcare, military strength, manufacturing, agriculture, and economic strength. Say thank you to the party who has supported Friedman policy since Reagan and now has us over a trillion dollars in debt thanks to Trump.
