When I first saw the bike bus, it inspired me to get a few moms together so our kids could have their own little “biker gang”. That little group grew from 3 to upwards of 20 kids riding to school every day! There are other pockets in our community that are doing the same, and I love seeing the stream of kids on the bike path in the morning. My kids are older now and more independent, so we don’t necessarily ride with them anymore, but they love the freedom, the exercise, and I love not having to drive them!
