CEO is already back tracking. To say you support physical media and refuse to comment on if your next console will have a disc drive is 100% Xbox move. Just dont forget that when it comes to disc to digital the last person that puts the disc in their console owns the digital license and it gets transferred to their console and you will lose it. So if you buy the new console and it doesnt have a disc drive in it, but you did the disc to digital transfer and put the physical games away and someone ends up using that disc you lost your game. That is still not ownership in the least.

XBOX is doing nothing that I care about right now. I don’t care about the digital thing because I still need to own my desk in order to make sure that I will never lose it digitally. The way Sony makes their discs makes it so they can’t do the disc. The digital thing. Sony is not going to be going back to your physical future because they know that every single fucking person who is bitching and moaning about them going all digital is still going to buy the games digitally because they don’t wanna miss out on games.

I believe they are planning on bringing Xbox 360 games on to it later, but this would be a case by case basis due to licensing agreements
