@pipiiiiiiinn: This happened back in 2023. Napansin ko na for about 3 days, sobrang matamlay ng baby ko. Tulog nang tulog, hindi gaanong kumakain, mahina, and hindi na siya yung usual na playful and excited to see me. 🥺 So I decided to bring him to the vet. After the tests, doon ko nalaman na positive siya for Ehrlichia and Babesia—blood parasites. 😭 Then lumabas yung CBC results niya. HGB: 10.5 — low HCT: 34.5% — low MCHC: 30.4 — low He was already anemic. Pero yung pinaka-nakakatakot na result? Platelets: 12,000. 😭 Normal daw around 200,000–500,000, so sobrang baba talaga. That was the moment I realized na hindi lang pala siya basta pagod or walang gana. May pinagdadaanan pala talaga yung baby ko. 💔 I was so scared, but I did everything I could to help him get better. We followed his treatment, monitored him, and prayed that he would make it through. 🥺🙏🏻 And now, watching this old video in 2026 hits differently… I can’t help but feel so grateful. From being so weak and sick in 2023, ngayon hindi mo na aakalain na pinagdaanan niya yun. He survived the blood parasite. 🥹 My little fighter. You survived.
