i think it’s just because ariana is the host of the show that made kayda famous. so it’s kinda more like they’re baffled at her audacity to just snap at ariana like that for asking a question. not because they’re worried about ariana’s feelings. also like ariana didn’t do anything personally to kayda whereas on vpr they were always fighting and taking stuff personally and trying to hurt people they didn’t like/getting back at people who did hurt them.
