@jaye_edwards: PIVOT PLACEMENT WITH A BANG ✂️ When there’s a bang involved, I don’t pivot the entire section. Through the bang, I keep my foil placement uniformly spaced. This prevents too much lightness building up through the middle and gives me a softer, more even highlight across the front. As that same foil moves into the internal color, that’s where I begin to pivot the placement outwards. Why? Because the pivot creates more negative space internally, allowing me to maintain depth behind the bang while still creating connection to the lighter pieces through the front. Uniform through the bang = soft, even brightness. Pivot internally = depth + dimension. Same foil. Two different placement strategies. Completely different purpose.
