If you're seeking a Michelin star for BBQ, you're not having real BBQ. Real BBQ comes from a stand on the side of the road in south Carolina. There's one lady inside and she asks you ribs or brisket. And when you answer she tells you to get out, she'll bring it when it's ready. So you sit on the side of the road, and she hands you a pile of pulled pork in a bun in a couple of stained napkins and says get going now. And you do. And it's the best thing you've ever had.
