Just get a vintage one off Etsy or EBay. Rain lamps were super popular in the 1970s and there's people who restore them.

I don't get how this is a scam. Yes it's INSANELY overpriced but what's advertised is exactly what you get? in the picture itself it's already cheap looking and plasticy, it's not a scam if it gave you exactly what it said it would.

I think for this one, it's all user error. it may have been overpriced, but they delivered as advertised...the oil spilling seems to be because you poured the whole bottle into it....even though they gave you a bottle, it doesn't mean you have to use it all at once cos for the price, it's very likely they gave you extra refills...

You use Glycerin so it doesn't smelland 200is cheap for a rain lamp, they retail for over $500 to $1,000.

My gram had a brass looking one and she always used a veggie oil and sometimes she would add a couple drops of food coloring and mix it up for a change. lol
