My oldest moved out this year and I have a 16 and 17 year old still home. But I’m right there with you. I’m focusing more on me and what I want for the future and I’m loving it. I feel like I’m finally getting to become who I was always meant to be. It’s amazing.

I only have one and it was hard because he moved away just far enough where I didn’t see him for awhile. He later told me he didn’t come home because he couldn’t see his dad so sick anymore. On dialysis for 15 years and was really bad. Got a kidney finally. Btw, you’re young enough to be my daughter!

For years, I was just surviving. We were never able to get ahead financially and it felt like we were always taking two steps backwards. I worked hard. Went to college.
