I am so fed up of seeing content saying degrees are worthless. My take is, once you have your degree no can can take it away from you, you can build upon it and do something with it. Apprenticeships are hard to get, there aren’t that many. Yes everyone has a degree m, it’s not worthless. All this noise is to avert people from going to uni so those miners come

points all taken but sadly the majority of entry level jobs want a baseline degree.. that said, there are alternative routes but it just seems so rare or super competitive. everyone has a degree these ... personally ,put aside the experience, I dont think its worth it unless its an absolute must like for medicine still... all depends...

Absolutely 100% agree with you. Centrally the government needs to plan for long term skill requirement and the graduate studies need to be tailored around that. So that there are jobs out there for students coming out. Think a lot of generic degrees can be better tailored

absolutely true, i wrote on a 'genius' post NOT to misguide people to skip uni. Stats still show that Uni is worth it.

I’ve told people this so many times. Nothing wrong with a professional job that pays you well and if you have the capacity work on a side gig that you can use to build your business.
