to take it a step further, the reason k1nk got involved with gay rights is the AIDS epidemic. it was well known that traditional x between people could transmit it and as a result alternative ways to have intimacy was developed to scratch that primal itch for intimacy while reducing the infection rate. so yes k1nk is an important part of the community

to dismiss kink from pride completley ignores how deeply ingrained kink is in our history and the incredible impact it has on our community to this day. especially for us queer people who aren't as palatable to the general public. kink goes beyond sex, boiling it down to that misses the point
